What is health coaching?
Health coaching is the use of evidence-based skillful conversation, interventions, and strategies to actively and safely engage clients in health behavior change. Health coaches work with people who want to lose weight, quit smoking, get or stay physically fit, and manage health conditions such as diabetes.
Why do I need a health coach?
Most of us know what we should be doing to improve our health and prevent disease, but we may not actually be doing those things. For one reason or another we become stuck in patterns of behavior that don't move us toward our desired goals. A skillful health coach can help get you unstuck.
